1. Who we are

The International Art Gallery ("GIA", "we") is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this site, in accordance with Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326.

2. What data we collect

To register as an artist and take part in our contests, we ask you for:

• Name, surname and contact details (email).
• Type and number of your identity document.
• Nationality.
• The artworks you upload, with their title, technique and description.
• Payment receipts when a registration involves a fee.
• Automatic technical data (IP address, browser) when you use the system, for security purposes and to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

3. What we use it for

• Managing your contest registration and verifying your identity.
• Publishing your artworks in the public Gallery, if you request it and the exhibition is approved.
• Communicating with you about the status of your registrations, payments and inquiries.
• Complying with legal obligations and preventing fraudulent use of the system.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Your rights

In accordance with Law 25.326, you have the right to:

• Access: know what data of yours we have on file.
• Rectification: correct data that is incorrect or outdated.
• Deletion: request that we delete your account and personal data.

You can exercise these rights by writing to us through the Messages icon in the bottom-right corner of the site, or from your "My Profile" panel for the data that can be edited directly. The Agency for Access to Public Information, as the Enforcement Authority for Law 25.326, is empowered to address complaints and claims related to non-compliance with personal data protection regulations.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your account data for as long as you have an active profile in the system. Unused uploaded artworks remain available for 30 days and are then automatically deleted from the server. Audit logs (who did what action) are kept for up to 1 year for security reasons.

6. Security

Your password is never stored in plain text, and connections to the site are encrypted. We limit login attempts to protect your account against unauthorized access.
